Together with their children, Jase and Hannah, they’ve built more than just an auto repair shop — they’ve built a family legacy.
Jake is a fourth-generation Herring in the automotive repair industry, proudly carrying on a tradition that began with his great-grandfather. From a young age, he worked beside his father, learning not just the mechanics of car repair but the values of hard work, honesty, and treating every customer like family.
At Higley Family Auto Care, the mission is simple: to keep the community safe and on the road, one honest repair at a time. Whether it’s routine maintenance or a major repair, the team takes pride in doing the job right — with transparency, care, and respect. Jeremy Ferreira is a Master Certified Automotive Technician with nearly four decades of hands-on automotive experience and an exceptional record of dedication, skill, and integrity. He began his career working on Volkswagens, developing a foundation in precision diagnostics and craftsmanship. Shortly after, he transitioned to Toyota—where he has now spent 29 years of his 39-year career. Jeremy’s deep product knowledge, commitment to continuous learning, and passion for solving complex automotive problems have made him a respected leader and trusted expert in the field.
Throughout his career, Jeremy has built a reputation for being loyal, conscientious, and unwavering in his commitment to “doing the right thing for the right reasons.” His attention to detail and genuine care for customers and coworkers have earned him long-standing respect within every shop he has served.
Beyond his professional achievements, Jeremy is a devoted family man. He has been married for 35 years and has shared more than 40 years of life with his wife. Together they have raised two children—a son and a daughter—who remain at the center of Jeremy’s world. As a family, they enjoy mountain biking and paddle boarding, bonding over outdoor adventures that keep them active and connected. Jeremy also enjoys RC hobbies, bringing the same curiosity and precision to his personal interests that he applies in the shop.

James Connor is an up-and-coming automotive technician with four years of hands-on experience and a reputation for being hardworking, motivated, and committed to growing his craft. Known for his strong work ethic and loyalty, James is always thinking ahead—constantly planning his next step, learning new skills, and refining his abilities in the shop.
James’s passion for cars began long before he entered the industry. He enjoys working on vehicles both professionally and in his free time, often spending off-hours in the garage honing his skills. His favorite car is the classic 1969 Nova SS, a model that reflects his appreciation for timeless American muscle. While he enjoys working on a variety of makes—including Chevy, Ford, and Nissan—James brings enthusiasm and curiosity to any vehicle that comes his way.
Dedicated, dependable, and eager to grow, James Connor is quickly establishing himself as a highly capable technician with a bright future in the automotive field.

Jake and his wife, Hailey, founded Higley Family Auto Care with a shared vision: to build a trusted neighborhood shop where customers feel truly cared for and confident in the service they receive. Along with their two children, Jase and Hannah, they have worked hard to create more than just an auto repair business—they’ve built a family legacy rooted in trust, craftsmanship, and genuine customer relationships.
